L30-11 or 3.49 h.p. O.H.V. This 349cc OHV sloper turned out to be underpowered or overweight (whatever you like). Also available in special sports trim (high compression piston, special cams, racing plug, special valve springs and racing magneto). These engines were stencilled with a red star on the timing cover to distinguish them from the normal engines.
