S30-9 de Luxe or 4.93 h.p. de Luxe. The luxury option 493cc
sidevalve sloper fitted with heavier frame, footboards and optional sports
handlebars. |

5.57 h.p. de Luxe H30-10 |
H30-10 de Luxe or 5.57 h.p. de Luxe. The more luxurious big sidevalve
sloper basicly the same options as the S30-9, its smaller brother. |

3.49 h.p. O.H.V. L30-11 |
L30-11 or 3.49 h.p. O.H.V. This 349cc OHV sloper turned out to be underpowered or overweight (whatever
you like). Also available in special sports trim (high compression piston,
special cams, racing plug, special valve springs and racing magneto). These
engines were stencilled with a red star on the timing cover to distinguish
them from the normal engines. This was the start of the famous BSA Star models. |

S30-13 de Luxe or 4.93 h.p. O.H.V. de Luxe. The ultimate sloper in
1930 which had like all the other OHV sloper models a chrome plated tank
and according to BSA an indestructible clutch. The stuff that dreams are
made of. |

7.70 h.p. E30-14 |
E30-14 or 7.70 h.p. This 770cc sidevalve V-Twin
stemmed from a long line of BSA V-Twins hence the odd capacity which dated
back to the early BSA years. |

G30-15 or 9.86 h.p. The 986cc sidevalve V-twin with the same basic specification as the E30-14 with total loss lubrication and
additional hand pump for an extra shot of oil. |

G30-16 W.T. or 9.86 h.p. W.T. The 986cc sidevalve V-twin in Wolrd Tour specification with total loss lubrication and
additional hand pump for an extra shot of oil.This was the
heavyweight V-Twin intended for the roughest sidecar work like the overseas
colonies with their lousy roads. The two wheeled tractor of the thirties. |

S30-18 Light or 4.93 h.p. Light. This was a 493cc sidevalve
model with normal upright engine in light cycle parts but not intended for
racing purposes. |
